California Coast (3/7/00)

After a refreshing rest in Eureka, California (This town is commonly confused with Yreka were Karen was raised.), we started down the rugged California coast. Even though Karen has traveled this road several times, she forgot how the road wound through the redwoods.

Just south of Eureka, we quickly drove through the town of Ferndale. This quaint town with Victorian style buildings is unique. With many stores closed for the season, we continued on to more Redwood Forests.
