Kennedy Space Center, Florida (2/9/00)

As we walked around a pond at the Space Center we saw an alligator on the bank. As we walked toward the alligator some people told us the alligator was fake since it had been laying there all day. When we got closer (There was a small fence between us and the alligator.) Karen was not convinced that the alligator was fake. She tossed a small piece of palm bark next to the alligator. Within a blink of our eyes the alligator turned his head and grabbed the palm bark then walked off. It was real.
