National Museum Naval Aviation
Pensacola, Florida (2/14/00)

Karen and the
children got a head start on the National Museum Naval Aviation at the
Naval Air Station, Pensacola - the "cradle of navy aviation." There were
many more planes at
this museum than at the Smithsonian in Washington DC. There was a
tour of the flight line which the children especially enjoyed.
Kent returned
in time to see some of the newer exhibits and take everyone to the IMAX
film, "The Magic of Flight". Kent Wm, Austin, and Grant really
liked the flight simulator. The kids are beginning to realize how many
different opportunities there are if they apply their talents and do well
in school.
Although a bit
behind schedule, we left for Louisiana with a much smoother ride, having
had the tires rotated and balanced and shock upgraded to support the fully
loaded Suburban.
We took many
pictures which we hope you will enjoy on our Photo Album pages.
