Carlsbad Caverns National Park
New Mexico (2/18/00)
Here we are, descending into the cave through the
Natural Entrance. We wore jackets since the temperature was 56 degrees.
The other entrance is via an elevator. We exited the
cave using the elevator that took us up 754 feet from the cave floor to
the Visitor's Center at
the speed of 9 miles per hour.
