Monterey, California (3/8 -
3/11/00)
The children
enjoyed their first day in Monterey at the Monterey Bay Aquarium with Dad
and Uncle Bill Evert. (Mom and
Aunt Glori went to San Francisco.)
The second day
we went to Santa Cruz to see Mrs. Washburn. She made us a
delicious "chicken in a blanket" meal. In the evening we
had an elegant dinner with the Tuckers at pacific Grove.
On Friday,
Glori invited some friends to join Karen and the children for a formal tea
party. Bill and Kent took a time out from the festivities for work. Kent
visited with some of the professors who had instructed him in the
Mechanical Engineering Department at the Naval Postgraduate School.
